Early graduarion is an option rhar arises for many srudenrs, and is commonly rhe consequence of an inrensly enthusiastic pupil whose impassivity has allowed him ro obtain rhe previously stipulated quantity of courses and thus enables rhe said student ro possibly opr ro receive his degree previous ro rhe norm. A student who chooses ro graduare early may find many benifirs from doing so. First of all, a student can be completely finished with any form of schooling. A student may now imperil himself into rhe work- ing world. An early graduated student may also choose ro work for a few months in order ro earn money towards a college education. If a student wants ro further his education and already has enough money for college, this person may choose ro graduare early and use his free rime ro his best advantage. He may view rhe world by means of travel or decide ro waste some rime away by doing nothing. There are also a few downsides ro rhe world of early graduarion. High school is probably rhe last free education rhar a person will receive. Reguardless of rhe consequences, someone who has earned rhe right ro decide, deserves rhe option.

The first child rakes a needle and pricks his index finger. He hands the needle to the second child urging him to go ahead. The second child hesitates, closes his eyes, and pricks his index finger. Silently the two squeeze a drop of blood from their fingers and rub them togeth- er. The two have now become blood brothers. Best buddies forever, forever bound by blood. This was nor on uncommon ritual for us os kids. For some this vow lasted throughout our grade schol days, yet for others this pledge rook place every other week. Best friends come and went like dirty socks. By high school the term best friend rakes on a slightly different meaning. Yes, in high school we still hove the need for feeling like we ore someone ' s number one most needed friend sometimes, bur we also desire freedom and spoce- .(conr.)
