As we look back on our Three years aT MHS. we see Thai we have mei mosT of our goals or aT IeasT aTTempTed Them. Maybe we didn'T achieve whaT we seT ouT To accomplish buT we have grown bofh individually and as a class. When we began our journey as Sophomores a maze of endless halls, new faces, and unlimiTed opporTuniTies surrounded us. We Tried our har- desf To become a parf of The MHS lifesTyle, To prove ourselves. Everyfhing was new and exciTing, FrusTraTion wiTh self-scheduling, eafing The cafefe- ria food, having our lockers jam. geTTing losf, and being called Sopho- more over and over again were all a parT of life aT MHS. The year began wiTh our firsT Bonfire and was followed closely by our firsT heel-clicking Ho Down . We were really enjoying The acTiviTies, laugh- Ter, and fun. IT was T'Our School . Our firsT Homecoming was undoubTedly The GreaTesT Show on EarThl Togefher we T'choo-chooed our way To a prize winning floaT. 'lThe Dance Qour firsT big daTej and The Game made a perfecf weekend. For mosf of us The highIighT of our Sophomore year was geTTing our Drivers License . We now had our chance To cruise The avenue and jam a dozen kids info our cars for an evening of fun. Before we knew iT The year was over and we were no longer The rookies - we were experienced! Being The juniors aT MHS was a new challenge. Our aThleTes had Their champs on The varsiTy Teams and iT was Time for us To begin seriously Thinking abouT our fuTure, We Took The ACT and SAT TesTs and spenT counfless hours cramming for finals. We bullT T'YosemiTe Sam for our Homecoming floaT which was a sure-shoT for firsT place. The climax of our junior year was The Prom. IT led us One STep Closer To our desTinaTion. We're here aT lasT - Seniors! College, marriage, or jobs are jusT around The corner. Caps and gowns, announcemenTs, senior picTures, senior prom, spring break '84, senior skip day, and finally GraduaTionl Can iT end so soon? We cherish every memory and look To The fufure wiTh uncerTianTy - whaT will iT hold for us? Who are we and where will we be going?
