do elliot 411.3 Rip Hari. . Approximately 500 people attended this rip-roarin, knee-slappin event known as the Ho-Down. With lots of hay, corn husks, and our caller, Darrel Gartner, things looked and were pretty authentic. Although it was hot and humid, people were able to cool off with refresh- ments. Ron Willems and Kelly Klingerman, co-chairmen, and their committee really did a super job. All in all, it was a super night of fun. - Jim Hallene 2 1. Shall we play follow-the-leader. 2. Yee-Haw 3. Mr. Rosborough was the first person to make a basket in Wharton Field House. 3. Russ Wharton, Roberta Pearson, Dr. Theodore Rockefeilow, and Dick Wharton pose with the plaque that was presented to T. F. Wharton, founder of the field house in 1928. 4. Mr. Jim Pearson reads an annoucement during the ceremony. 5. MoIine's first basketbail team to play at Wharton con- sisted of members: Row 2: Howard Blue, Les Stone, Jim Rosbor- ough, Jim Cutbirth. Row 1: Roger Potter, Sam Drake, Ray Lindquist, Dick Pearson, and Charles Coppens.
