HQmlIG-mii l m an 51 Homecoming '78 proved itself to be a busy and successful week. Jersey Day and 'The Dating Game started the week's activities, with Crazy Hat Day and Streak Day taking place the next day, Tuesday. On Wednesday, carnations were sold and delivered throughout the school. Stu- dents dressed in maroon and white witnessed Thursday's pep-rally on the Senior Patio along with the football team, pep band and cheer- leaders. Friday was packed full of events, includ- ing Coronation, the parade, and the football game against Galesburg. Saturday's Homecoming dance at Black Hawk College tied up the week's activities and brought Homecoming '78 to a suc- cessful close. UIMPF 12 Homecoming l mt' 7 A I I A R

Spanish Club members Ginger Kizer and Ann Noppe stand in front of the first mini-float in the history of MoIine's Homecoming parade, 4, Memf bers of this years Homecoming court are: Jay Ketz and Heidi Watkins, fourth attendants, Jim Hallene and Lisa Johnson, third attendants, Pat Roche and Beth Douglas, first attendants, Mike Lijegren and Jodi VanMeigham, sophomore attendants, Tony Dhooge and Lisa Tormeno, junior attendants, King Norm Aten and Queen Lisa Strom. 5. The Senior class float Roarin for a Victory was a triple winner taking Best Class float, the Grandmarshall and Sweepstakes awards. 6. The Junior Class float The Streaks Deserve an Ache Today took second place. 7. Raid Em! was the theme for the Sophomore Class float. 8. Senior named to Honorable Mention are: Ron Willems and Lisa Sundberg, Butch Pikuza and Lori Swiatkiewicz, Brad Bellinger and Mary Dan- ielsen, Jim Falk and Beth Kruse, and Tom Gritton and Lynn DeCoster.
