first year for snowball, finish new activity room ' ' This year. Student Congress strived to keep alive traditions at MHS, and also to add new activities. Following Homecoming, plans were made for the Christmas dance, the Snow Ball. The last Student Congress sponsored event of the year was the Great Race which was held in the spring ' (Cathy Carter) The use of the cafeteria as an activity room gave students more room, candy machines, and a jukebox.
