Changed from their customary last place on the dramatic calendar, the Drama Clubbers very efliciently held the initial spotlight. As enjoyable as Mark TWain's famed book, the play was made even better by the Whole-hearted, bare-footed performance of Arthur Conelly who capa- bly handled the title role. Unshaven chins and pants suspended by one lone strand of rope gave an unusually realistic effect. Example: the timid geologist, Harry Ekstam, mixes up a recipe book with a patented love-making volume while proposing to Myrna Fischer. In the middle of a tense romantic moment Harry asks Myrna to be his Hungarian goulash. The cast: Aunt Polly, Carol Getz, Ruth Watson, Myrna Fischer, Mary Jane, Ro- berta Townsend' Fred Raymond Harry Ekstam Melba White Ivene Noble Clara Woppinger Nellie Lindvall Amy Woppinger Helen Smutz Huckleberry Finn Arthur Conelly John Finn Lloyd England Tom Sawyer Bruce Harris Coach Miss Barbara Garst Business managers Phyllis Holtz Jack Trevor Property manager Grace Shager Huckleberry Finn S M FhLldEldClGI Nbl 7 7 I .
