CC ' Romeo and julzet Trial I9 fur 93 Two short operas, Trial by Jury, and Romeo and J uliet were entertainingly presented in November by the Music de- partment headed by Miss Ina Dunlap. Romeo and Juliet, a take-off on Shake- speare's play, threw the audience into spasms of laughter, especially when one song was rendered entitled The Stomach Pump. Trial by J ury was a colorful court scene opera presented lightly to bring out the excellent humorous situ- ations. The decision of the judge to marry the plaintiif, parts cleverly taken by Harry Ekstam and Mary Chirekos, was the climax of the singing production. o I-lt e E C A 1 V W B W C D K opp B Day L y W B10 be g F Ald L b .I P R A H u I L M h j K H E o R R L D V D K 0 0 1 g W.
