This booklet is essentially a description of Moline lligh School, telling of its history, customs, and the activities and organizations which it fosters, The handbook is distributed free of charge to the incoming freshmen at the beginning of each semester, and was distributed to the entire student body at the time of its publication. The Maroon and XYhite Handbook is something which has long been desired by both teachers and students. In it the reader may find a directory of the clubs and organizations in the school and an idea of the proper procedure in all matters of school routine. The Board of Education very kindly provided for the printing of thc handbook, while its editing was entrusted to a connnittee consisting of Vtfalford VValden, '25, chairman, Ann Vernon, '25, Hester fJ'Neill, '25, Edward Riechers, '25, and Merlin Francis, '26, with Ella M. Cockrell as faculty adviser. 1721

The 1925 MH The l9Z5 M is taken from the press, after months of hard work, at an approximate cost of 33,000.00 Vllhen it is considered that the M sells for 31.25 or 31.50, one readily sees the work involved in financing this book. Business conditions in Moline and the vicinity have been unusually poor. However, despite financial handicaps of various natures, ive believe we have been able to publish a book that is different from the preceding M's, and, we hope, equal to any. Changes in arrangement of material have been made, different ideas instituted, a color border introduced, a new type of cover design, something different in the view section, new methods of photo- graphing class groups, and a different method in arranging senior panels. All these things and many more have been changed or added with the view of pleasing our subscribers. VVe trust we have succeeded.
