CLASS POEM Class of '48 Yes, we entered Molalla High School, Four long years ago, And admired the upperclassmen, As we wandered to and fro. But then we hecame accustomed To surroundings strange and new, Participated in school activities, 'Non scholastic honors too. X'X'e've made an outstanding record And have reached our goal at last, So now we are proud and honored To he the Senior Class. So now we hid this High School A very fond good-hye. We gaze hack o'er fond mem'ries. Familiar scenes will meet the eye, Of parties, of picnics, of dances, And of games won hy Molalla High, Of classes, studies, and classmates, Of our teachers who stood hy. XN'hen we think of all the exams From which we could not run, We did not realize until it was over That it had all been fun! Yes, now we are leaving high school Into a world so wise, To take up the responsibility as citizens NN hich We so highly prize. NVe shall hold our memories dearly Of this high school through our lives, And as a tribute to its meaning VVe will forever strive For the betterment of our future And to live true wholesome lives.
