Hass History 1948-1949 September found thirty-three young Freshmen eagerly awaiting their first rtay at 1V1ohnton. These students, uncier the supervision of Mrs. Newiciric, were given their first high schooi training. After heing enrolled. the foiiowing offi- rers were elected: David Park, president, Fern Messner, vice president: Teri Roscher. secretary-treasurer. 1949-1950 Our Sophomore year proved to he even better than the Freshman year. Vvith one year of experience hehinci us. we felt 1i1ce veterans and were ready for the coming year. it was very successful. A trip to the zoo and several ctoggie roasts were some of the main attractions. The ciass acivisor was Miss Lower. ancl the officers were Anna Kohl, president: Ted Roscher, vice president: and Mary Lutz, secretary-treasurer. 1950-1951 Juniors! Only one step away from the top. The highlights of our Junior year were the magazine campaign, the ciass play. the class supper, anct the prom. We profited a great cteai from working together on all these class projects. Our class afivisor was Miss Hecicman. and our officers were Mary Lutz, presirientg Anna Kohl, vice president: Marceiyn Schnacier, secretary: and John Lutz. treasurer. 1951-1952 Seniors at iasti Witli our goal practically accomplished We worlceci harci toward graciuation. The Senior year was highlighted hy the resignation of Mr. iV1etca1f, the principal, after which Mr. Hoffman took over. As Seniors we won the magazine campaign. We aiso sponsored the ciass play. supper, anct iast hut not least, the ciass trip. We spent three Clays in Vvashington. 1V1r.
