CROSS COUNTRY The Hawk Harriers finished with a strong 8-3 dual meet record and a 5th place fin- ish in the Region III Championships. Bob Keller, captain, was selected by his teammates as the most valuable runner for his consistently fine efforts throughout the season. Bob Keller and Jerry Ferguson will be lost to graduation while Kevin Frey, Frank Bailey and Stuart Whalen will return to provide a strong nucleus for next year ' s squad. TENNIS The MVCC Tennis team lost their last match of the season to Cobleskill by a score of 5-4. The loss threw Cobleskill into a tie with the Hawks for the S.U.J.C.A.C. Championship while the MVCC squad finished the season with a 3-4 record. Dave Barker, the only returning letter winner, teamed up with a group of newcom- ers led by Joe Skrakowski and Jim Dalton to give the Hawks a fine team, making up for lack of experience with hard work and hustle.
