TRACK and FIELD The Hawk cindermen completed the season with a 3-2 dual meet record, a fourth place finish in the Cobleskill Invitational and a second place in the Region III NJCAA championships. This is a fine record considering only twelve men participated for MVCC. Chris Sochin, all around performer, set a new school record hitting 46 ' in the Na- tional JC Track Meet to better teammate Chuck Klempka ' s old mark of 45 ' BVs . Klempka also kept his name on the record books by setting a new mark of 22 ' 11% in the long jump. Bill Cook also set a school record throwing the javelin 171 ' 8V2 . Klempka also set another record along with Dan Corey high jumping 5 ' IIV4 .
