1976 MASSAMET At the beginning of the year I was determined to produce the best yearbook Mohawk had ever had. I've learned, though, that that was a nice goal to aim for but a difficult one to accomplish. I also thought that putting a yearbook together would not be such a difficult task. However, I found out later that it was not such an easy job after all, especially when the staff and myself were very inexperienced. Everyone did the best they could with what they had and that's all anyone can ask for. There were times, however, when I thought we would never make the deadlines, but somehow thanks to a very small but dedicated staff we managed to meet them. I want to thank the entire staff for their cooperation and dedication. I'm especially grateful to those who helped with the Ad sales during the summer. This year's cover would not have been possible without the money from these ads. Thank you Mr. Potter for all your help and advice. I never would have known what to do if you had not been there to answer all my questions. To all my section co-editors, I sincerely thank you for your willingness to work even when the going was rough. You always finished your pages and met the deadlines. Phyllis, my business manager, thanks for taking care of all the financial matters. Fritz and Wayne, you were two very dependable photographers that I was lucky enough to have on the staff. Thank you for all the pictures you provided deadline after deadline. Now it's over and done. Looking back over the sleepless nights of worry I wonder how I made it. This definitely has been a very memorable experience for me. It was a lot of hard work, but knowing that everything is done and the book complete makes it all worthwhile. And I hope that somehow it provides a memory for everyone of the 1975-76 year at Mohawk.
