Senior Kelly Hardy Senior Tim Murphy Boys have best season ever This year the Cross Country Team finished with a record of 16 wins and 0 losses. This is the best record ever compiled by a Cross Country Team in Mohawk history. With that 16- 0 record, the team brought home the Division II Section I Title. Coach 1-ape said that the biggest thrill of the season was beating Neshannock in the last meet of the year to win the section title and go undefeated! Leading the team this year was Senior Tim Murphy with 145 points. Sophomore Brian Spohn 124 points, Sophomore Tim McDowell 107 points and Junior Troy Stanley 93 points. The Varsity Team finished in 2nd place at the W.P.l.A.L. Qualifier and 5th at the W.P.l.A.L. Finals. At the Tri-County Meet, the team finished in 6th place. In the J.V. Division, Eric Craig finished 1st. In the Junior High Division, the team cap- tured the championship for the second straight year. They were led by Richard Butler and Mike Gwin.
