Book who has left an indelible mark upon us. James A. Book 1927-1965 foreword Upon graduation, high school seniors have ascended to an important plateau. We, at Mohawk, have climbed a trail which has taken twelve years. Our teachers have been our guides. They have shown us the way, scouting unknown passages. We pause, but do not halt. A graduate's future may look as hazy as a smoke signal or as sharp as an arrow, but one must continue up the hills of the future. Success will go hand in hand with discouragement, but we must not turn back. As each plateau is at- tained, another higher one comes into sight. It is the responsibility of the youth of today to blaze a trail UP the mountains of the future. The Totem Staff jj,4frv1,4'-fyzflxfg, Joyce Simonsic EDITOR-IN-CHIEF l The builders of the steps . .
