The comic situ- ation involved the masquerade of an Oxford undergraduate as the rich millionaire aunt of a fellow classmate Charley. During the play, Lord Babberly, Charley's aunt', is proposed to by two men, Mr. Chesney and Mr. Spettigue. Shortly afterwards the real aunt arrives. ln the resulting confusion, Lord Babberly tricks Mr. Spettigue into agreeing to the marriage of his ward to Charley, the real aunt marries .lack's father, .l ack becomes engaged to Kitty Verfun, and Charley's Aunt regains his lost fortune and obtains the hand ol' the girl he loves, Ella Delahay.

The agenda began on Monday with the traditional slave auction, with Ned Gregg officiating at the slave block, the dine-in on Wednesday evening, ushered in with the procession of the boar's head, and the assem- bly program on Friday for the entire student body. Along with the Latin Chorus, the program included a short patriotic skit, Cicero Walks with Washington and Lincoln, and the Latin Laugh-In, an original skit written by a committee of Latin II students. The final scene featured pie in the eye and a dozen roses for Mrs. Brandt, the Latin Teacher. mu rch to the banquet
