H. A. 'ers on The FHA had an active schedule this year. Among its activities were the observance of FHA Week, a county meet- ing at Carey, a County Style Show at Mohawk, the FHA State Convention held in Co- lumbus, and the Senior Fare- well. The Chapter works for the State Award of Merit by meet- ing certain requirements. Judy Swerline was accepted into the State FHA Chorus which per- formed at the Convention. Ac- cepting her State Homemaker Degree at the Convention in April was Kay Houdeshell. A sophomore member, Beverly Morter, ran for a state office. After numerous activities the organization wound up the year with the FTA's final annual event, the scholarship tea.
