Six FFA members participated in the State FFA Band and Chorus. Kathy Brouse was elected queen at the Annual Parent Sz Son Banquet. Mark Hayman was Star Chapter Farmer, and Bill Staib Star Green- hand. Gordon Scott won the National Sheep Shearing Contest and was lirst in the State FFA Livestock Judging Contest. The team of Gordon, Dan McClain, and Larry Pennington placed second. Henry Staib was second in the State Farm Mechanics Contest. The Land Judging team of Bruce Geary, Robert Lewis, and Dennis Grubel placed third in the state contest.
