Coach Dorman This season was previewed by the three summer scrim- mages before the season opener. In these scrimmages the team showed an ability to move the ball, an inability to score, and an ability to play fair defense. At the end of the season the record was 3 wins, 5 losses and 1 tie. A total of 19 points cost three losses and the tie. However, the differ- ence between winning and losing can only be measured by the difference in desire and effort by the opposing players. In the games that were lost the opposing teams were made up of players who worked harder, wanted it more, and cooperated to get the victory. Football is a sport which demands many sacrifices from a boy if he desires to be a football player. If a boy does not wish to make the necessary sacrifices he is merely a player of football and not a football player. On behalf of the coaching staff I wish to express my gratitude for the opportunity of working with the few football players on this years squad. Coach Tom Dorman
