The purpose of the Y-Teens, which is affiliated directly with the National Y.W. C.A. is to promote friendship and good will. The school Christmas trees were decor- ated by the members and they also sold Christmas cards. The profit made from this project was given to the Retarded Childrens' School. A breakfast honoring the seniors was enjoyed near the end of the school year. Installing new President

Several activities were enjoyed during the year by the members of the Future Teachers of America. These activities in- cluded the Mixer in the fall to acquaint the prospective members with the old members, the annual Chocolate Hour dur,- ing which the alumni returned to visit, the student teaching day which was a great success, and the Silver Tea given in the spring.
