The cooperation of the Board of Education, the devoted work of the office staff, the assistance which the counselors give, the unfailing work of the cafeteria staff and custodians, and the efforts of the faculty all help toward the present high condition of Modesto High School. Without these groups, there could be very little in the way of a successful school. V T . The Administration and Faculty of MHS also are a vitally important part of the school. The shadow of the Sycamore tree symbolizes the heritage of our school. The portion of this shadow given to the Faculty and Administration denotes the influence of this unifying group. Principal Berry delivers annual message to MHS student body My congratulations to both faculty and students for another very successful year. I am continually impressed with the competence and sincerity of our staff and with the cooperative spirit of our student body. These are the qualities that have enabled Modesto High School to become a leader among schools. These, too, are the qualities of staff and students that have made my own association with Modesto High School so enioyable. I want to wish to all students and especially those who are graduating the greatest possible future success and happiness. We are indebted to you for your part in helping make this the fine school that it is. l only hope we have fulfilled our obligation to you in helping you obtain the quality of education and training you will need to successfully face the future.
