The cooperation of the Board of Education, the devoted work of the office staff, the assistance which the counselors give, the unfailing work of the cafeteria staff and custodians, and the efforts of the faculty all help toward the present high condition of Modesto High School. Without these groups, there could be very little in the way of a successful school. V T . The Administration and Faculty of MHS also are a vitally important part of the school. The shadow of the Sycamore tree symbolizes the heritage of our school. The portion of this shadow given to the Faculty and Administration denotes the influence of this unifying group.
