Principal Berry delivers annual message to MHS student body My congratulations to both faculty and students for another very successful year. I am continually impressed with the competence and sincerity of our staff and with the cooperative spirit of our student body. These are the qualities that have enabled Modesto High School to become a leader among schools. These, too, are the qualities of staff and students that have made my own association with Modesto High School so enioyable. I want to wish to all students and especially those who are graduating the greatest possible future success and happiness. We are indebted to you for your part in helping make this the fine school that it is. l only hope we have fulfilled our obligation to you in helping you obtain the quality of education and training you will need to successfully face the future. Board of Education, Counselors set policy, guide students Board of Education: Mr. Charles M. Spencer, Mrs, Jean Knoles, Mr. Cecil Plummer, Mrs, Catherine Everett, and Mr. lan Hardie. Effective student guidance is brought about through the combined efforts of the Board of Education and the counseling staff of Modesto High School. The job of the Board of Education is the establishment of counseling standards for the entire Modesto school system. On the other hand, the counselors at MHS work with students in- dividually. Members of the counseling staff are Principal J.
