Specialized ervices, classes are offered A student at Modesto High School may include in his program specialized classes such as study hall, library, and vocations. Study hall offers additional study time during the school dayg no credits are given. Study hall teacher is Mr. Douglas Leighton. Vocations, taught by Mr. Robert Healey in conjunction with the Counseling De- partment, is a required subject for sopho- mores. It helps students to decide which jobs they are suited for by giving them a glimpse of various vocations and by test- ing their abilities. The facilities of a well- equipped library are available to all stu- dents under the direction of Miss Helen Hartwich and Mrs. Maxine Benton. Credit may be earned by students who learn li- brary skills by working as library assistants a. ,,,, W., Students take a test to see what vocations they are suited for while Mr Robert Healey supervises X!
