As the years pass, the experiences you have had while students at Modesto High School will be among your most cherished memories. This SYCAMORE, the record of these experiences, will be a source of in- creasing pleasure as it serves to recall your successes, failures, and particularly the en- during friendships you have formed while in school. As a reminder of these exper- iences this book will become more and more one of your most valued possessions. I want to wish all students, and especially those who are graduating, the greatest pos- sible future success and happiness. We are indebted to you for your part in helping make this the fine school that it is. l only hope we have fulfilled our obligation to you in helping you obtain the quality of education and training you will need to successfully face the future. lt has been a great privilege for me to be associated with the faculty and students of Modesto High School. l will look forward to renewing associations in the fall with those who will return.
