Joe Seitz The entire action of the play takes place in the combination lunch room and lobby of the Eagle Hotel, located in a remote section of the Southwest, near the Mexican border. Act I occurs late one afternoon in September, Act II late evening two days later, and Act III the following day. On a trip, Tish, Lizzie and Aggie, middle-aged spinsters, start out to lead a simpler life, they stay at the Eagle Hotel, where they get involved in one jam after another. They finally bring some crooks to justice and happiness to the young people, amid plenty of suspense and excitement. Cammy junior Play Mrs. Thurber, who runs her own household ......... .... The whole play takes place in the Thurber home. Act I occurs in the early evening. Act II about seven o'clock two evenings later, and Act Ill, one hour later. Marie Thurber as a sweet, obedient daughter who really loves Tommy Mills, the boyfriend her parents pick out for her, but it takes some real maneuvering on the part of Uncle David to make everything work out satisfactorily. Uncle David, the political boss of the town and Judge Wilson, his aide, work out some keen deals, all of which finally bring peace and contentment to Marie and Tommy, and to Marie's parents, as well.
