Solid Background of Electronics Put to Practical Use The purpose of the Electronics Communications program is to prepare the students for careers in the field of electronics. This preparation is accomplished through related and theoretical classroom study and practical work in the laboratory. In Electronics Communications the student receives training in telephone, television service, two-way radio, computer programming and other related roles in the electronic industry. Technical training for these occupations is accomplished by a solid background of electronic fundamentals, including AC and DC current theory mathe- 3 matics, solid state devices, and basic circuits and systems. Basic electronic circuits and radio theory are put into practical use when radios and small electronic equipment are repaired. Verlyn Jerke Electronics Communications I lab.
