First-year students learn the basic principles of accounting and may graduate upon completion of the courseg or they may return to school after stunmer vacation and enroll in the second year program. Accounting II students learn the reasons, methods, and theory behind their basic accounting knowledge. This background coupled with several management courses provides the basis for an accounting or management position. Class activities include: an occasional field trip, Christmas carol- ling, sponsoring one of the many dances or other school activities, and intramural basketball and volleyball.
