A Preparmg for Emplo ment as Combination Welders Welding is a nine month course designed to prepare students for immediate employment as combination Welders. The following operations can be performed completely by the combination Welder: Oxyacetylene Cut- ting, Oxyacetylene Welding and Brazing, Electric Arc Welding, and Inert Gas Welding. Industrial expansion in many industries insures maximum employment for many years to come. The employment outlook for qualified Welders is very bright. The demand for certified welders in fabrication and small job shops is increasing. Taking further training for positions in their jobs, and keeping up with advancements in their field are some of the quali- ties of the certified welder. The welding program provides training in various types of welding in the horizontal, vertical, flat and over- head position on common metalsiused today.
