SNOW BALL TWO SHADES OF SOUL, a local musical group, provided enjoyable inflections for dancers and listeners at the 1971 Snow Ball held in the Mitchell High School Gymnasium on Saturday, December 11. Chosen by popular student body vote, Gayle Bunnell and Lloyd More risen were crowned Snow Royalty. Attendants were: Nadine Hoven, Marsha Clemens, Jarvis Heckenliable and Charles Fuerness. The girls' chorus sang a medley of songs to complete the crowning ceremony. Sponsoring this year's winter event were the departments of Practical Nursing, Drafting I and Auto-Diesel IIA.

04 gime 902' .3006 Sentimental decorations, elegant gowns and festive moods en- hanced a romantic atmosphere for the 1972 Spring Formal, A TIME FOR LOVE. The Holiday Inn was the setting for the Student Council sponsored event on May 13. Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Grigg were special banquet guests. The invocation and other selections were sung by the girls' chorus under Mr. Speelman's direction. Student Body President for 1971-72. Ron Selken thanked Stu- dents and staff for their cooperation during the year. Excitement mounted as he opened the envelope to reveal his newly elected successor - Ron Semmler. Kiesz, Schmidt, Inc. of Aberdeen furnished music for dancing and listening pleasure.
