John Burton is indeed greatly missed in Mitchell High. John returned this fall to begin his senior year and in the weeks that followed he served as president of the sen- ior class. When John left Friday evening to at- tend the Greencastle basketball game, he bade his classmates goodbye for the last time. While driving to Greencastle, John met his death ir1 an automobile accident. We remember him for his friendly smile and he1lo and the good times he shared with us. We hold him in our mem- ories always as a high school classmate. We know he has found his eternal place in the house of God. CATIO We, the Senior Class of 1957, feel honored that Miss Charlotte lsom is to graduate with us. Through his long illness she has re- mained determined to finish her high school education at home. This year Charlotte has finally succeeded in her up- hill struggle. During her two and one-half years at Mitcehll High School she was very active in FHA , and served as vice-president in her second year. She also achieved a Scholas- tic M . We want to congratulate her on her wonderful accotnplishnient and wish her the best of everything always. In Honor ' J my-if : I4 495 ' 95 Mementos from our Junior-Senior Prom and our other times of just plain fun are added to the never ending list of memories cherished by all Mitchell grad- -4' uates, past and present. As we look back, let us not forget the UNDERCLASSMEN of Mitchell.High. They are setting forth an effort for their goal which in a few years they will obtain, They work hard for what they get, be it burning the midnight oil for the big test or sitting in the principal's office for hitting someone with a snowball.
