In striving for a theme for this year's Thames Log, the staff decided to use an idea from the song Blow- in' in the Wind. We have all been down many roads, but we have not gone down the last one when we leave Mitchell. We do not yet have all the answers to lifels problems. Weill travel down many more roads in days and years to come, and the answers, my friends, are, and always will be, blowin' in the wind? I hope that you will enjoy the memories of good, and not so good times, that these pages will re- call, and maybe sometime our paths will cross again and welll travel down another road together. As we put the last pages together, I wish to thank the people who helped me. If any name is omitted, it is not from lack of appreciation, only of space. In particular, however, I want to thank Mr. John Levis, our publisher for his patience when we missed deadlines, Larry Blynn, for his hours of work in the dark- room, Mr. Lew Southworth, for his donation of pictures, Mr. John Enos for enduring our poor house- keeping, President Weller, for his help in solving financial problems, Dee Miner and Bill Bonte for their efforts to keep us solvent, Mark Friedenburg for his assistance, especially in doing most of the layouts, Steve Loewenstein for his help in taking pictures, Linda Hogancamp, and my wife for typing copy, Miss Eileen Gavitt and Mrs. Diane Jameson for compiling class lists, and Mrs. Susan Strahn, who is the advis- er and backbone to the Thames Log.
