A cherub called to me from a tree nearby. He told of the greatness of the all-giving sun. He spoke of the land beyond the stars And how wondrous sights may be seen there. He told me to gaze at the water And behold the ebb and flow of the world. He told me to not fear, for there was not to fear. He spoke softly and gently. He made me close my eyes. I did sleep.
