ROUND TABLE STOCK and BOND CLUB From the role of student government to the moral implications of the Vietnam war, the Round Table offers students an opportunity to partake in informal conversation on important and controversial topics. Whenever possible, guest speakers, experts in their fields, join in the discussion. Such was the case this year when Rabbi Leonard Goldstein of Congregation Beth El of New London spoke about the relevance of organized religion in the zorh century, and when the Hazards and several other college old- timers reminisced about Mitchell lore and tradition. Oiicers for 1967-68 were Pres- ident, Mike Durhamg Vice-President, Bruce Ebert, Treasurer, Grill? de Noyellesg Secre- tary, Holly Green. Freshman Week and the Mar- ket dropped . . . Close race for the presidency . . . Point of order! Not again . . . Who's pushing diodes? . . . Who or- dered that movie? . . . What is the stock market? . . . What is the Wall Street journal? . . . We are buying Kentucky fried chicken if we are lucky . . . Well, we tried to get 35450 for coffee and doughnuts . . . Buy. No, sell. Oh, Hip a coin . . . Give those guys some coffee. It's time to visit the exchange . . . Wait until it spilts and buy it. If we're lucky we'll get an income of 25c on dividends . . . November and the Market dropped again. Does it ever go up? Yeah, alternate Saturdays . . . How now, Dow Jones? . . . Thanks you, Mr. Fiegel, 'Mr. Beebe, oflicers and members . . . Point of order! Point of order! Klien's gonna buy chicken din- ners for all. 87
