-:aff 1 -1:97 EDITORIAL COMMENTS XVe've tried some new and, we think, exciting ideas in this year's Tlmme: Log. Of course, it's taken a lot of time and planning on the part of the whole staff, but we all feel that our efforts have been well worth it. The value of a yearbook is almost completely dependent on the quality of its pictures. The Log was lucky enough to have some good photographers at work around campus. They have tried to reflect the character of the Mitchell community and especially the senior class, through a variety of posed and candid shots. There are a number of people who deserve special thanks for their part in the success of the book: Mrs. Strahn, chief advisor, who was forced, through adverse circumstances, to take the brunt of the responsibility for the publication upon herself. Mr. Kennedy, proof reader and advisor, and Mr. William, who helped with art and layout. The Tbamer Log ofhcers, who kept things running smoothly, especially my co-editor, John Richmond. Mr. Hubert Warren, who did such a fine job on our senior pictures. Mr. Theodore Hargrove, who was always so kind and helpful. I would also like to issue a sincere thanks to all the students, faculty, and administra- tion for their co-operation and not infrequent assistance.
