R oger Bliss The old order changeth yielding place to the new, and new it was as the class of '55 commenced its first year at Mitchell. New faces, new courses, and a new Student Union building awaited us. ln the fall we chose as our class officers: James Plunkett, President, Roger Bliss, Vice-President, Anne Flaherty, Secretary, and Sara Burgess, Treasurer. ln the first week, a beach party was given to ac- quaint the students with each other. A student-faculty Treasurer .tt.... ..,...., S ara Burgess Secretary .... ..... A nne Flaherty mixer was also given to introduce the students to the faculty. Before our Thanksgiving holiday, a successful Thanksgiving dance was sponsored by our class. At the Snow Ball Formal one of our freshman girls, jean Rogers, was crowned Snow Ball Queen. We look forward to our senior year and our future, in hopes that they will be as successful as our fresh- man year has been.
