The expanded and improved laboratories, the well-manned staff of instruc- tors, and the newly extended graduate doctoral program point to the significance of the Chem- ical Engineering and Chemistry Department on the Missouri Mines campus. With the enrollment in chemistry now at a zenith, the future of graduate engineers in this field is understandably optimistic.
