C cprovicleo ro eooional eontcccto The Student Chapter of the ASCE has been performing a vital function in behalf of engineering college students, rounding out the School's professional training. The ASCE Student Chapters are established to help serve engineering students by enriching their college courses by provid- ing those professional contacts and associations which, continued through life, are so valuable to the practicing engineer. The Chapter acts as a medium for exercising principles of personal and public relations. All the many activities under chap- ter auspices contribute to mental development and the forming of judgments. Activities also stimulate early professional conscious- ness while the student still is occupied with techniques. A Civil Engineering lab. Spring and Fall officers. 27
