There are numerous phases of Mechan- ical Engineering such as power plant design, machine design, shop practice, applied me- chanics, refrigeration, air conditioning, etc. The University curriculum for Mechanical Engineer- ing students is perhaps more fundamental and less specialized than other engineering curricu- lum, due to the size and scope of the Mechanical Engineering field.
