Daniel Cowan lackling was grad- uated from M.S.M. in 1892. Since that time he has become president of the Utah Copper Company and is probably the school's most noteworthy graduate. The building Was i' named for Elmo G. Harris, one of the country's most outstanding engineers 1 and teachers. The l1ISl full schedule of games was played 1n l9OU. Students field surveying in 1897. The oblect of surveying was to turn out com- petent Land and Mining Surveyors and fair Draughtsmen.
