MESSAGE FROM PRESIDENT MIDDLEBUSH APPRECIATE the opportunity given to me by the Bollamo editors to send this message to the School ot Mines and Metallurgy graduates ot the Class of l952. You will soon join a goodly band oi M.S.M. alumni and you should be proud of your membership in the Alumni Association. You are leaving our campus at one oi the most prosperous periods in its history. l have stated on many occasions in recent years that in my judgment, the Univesity oi Missouri School ot Mines and Metallurgy never was stronger than now in the standing ot its pro- gram and teaching, research, and service. This year all of our curricula are accredited. The State of Missouri has been generous in making these facilities available to you. The Board consits of nine men appoints by the Governor with the consent of the Star Senate. The term is six years, with two ner men joining the Board every year. ln addition to many other duties, the Boar recommends appropriations for the develop ment and maintenance of the school. The cu rent expansion which has occurred in the las tew years is truly a tribute to their efforts.
