Mining Building. Mining Engineering Department A-riq-a-de-dig! Picks, safety shoes, helmets and car- bide lamps-here come the Miners, streaming from that unimpressive building that was miraculously con- yerted from a Warehouse. This is the home of the Mine 11123 Department, rich in tradition and famous through- out the world. Many of the departments lab courses are conducted at the school's full-scale mine. This mine is fully equipped, but yields a very pure form of Worth- less Ozark hardpan. The Petroleum Enqineerinq students, Who never seem to finish their course in the standard four years, are Guided by an experienced oil man, Prof. F. A. Graser. Page 'Twenty-Five 1-.,.,,m I.
