Matter of fact, it jumps around so fast that no one has ever been able to catch it. Perhaps that is the reason the E. E.'s frown when you ask Why? and l-low? What a mess: wires, circuit breakers, meters, machinery, vacuum tubes, and radio circuits. All these are to be found somewhere on the first and basement floors of Norwood Hall. Yep! lt's the hang-out of the Electrical Department- the department that teaches us the prin- ciples of AC. and DC. circuits and machinery, and teaches the E. E.s how to make powerand transmit it and how to send Morse through the ether. The head of fthe E. E. Department is an Old Faithful dating back to l9l6, who has a soft-voiced, easy-going per- sonality. Prof. Frame has seen the de- partment grow from infancy to its pres- ent state and hopes that, in the near' future, he will be able to set up shop in aibuilding all his own. Perhaps then, the electron will be caught and put on exhibition. Wires everywhere.
