ENGINEERING DEVELOPMENT Within recent years the opinion of the public concerning the engineering pro- fession and the engineer has risen in esteem and the profession has a national organi- zation to enhance the professional status of its members. One of the objects is to widen the viewpoint and interests of the engineer.
