We are also very grateful to Professors Harris and McRae for the assistance they rendered us in compiling our “Personals” and putting us in touch with some of our old students. The “Colonial Minstrel” girls and orchestra helped us very considerably by giving a show for the benefit of this publication, thereby setting the example for the M. S M. Minstrel Troupe. Accounts of these performances will be found elsewhere in this book, but we must acknowledge our gratitude to all of those who so kindly and generously gave their time and assistance. To Mr. De La Vergne we owe thanks for his neat design for our Contents page, which will be found at the beginning of this book, and to Mr. S Jochamowitz for his clever title page, photographs, and other assistance, Mr, Hammond Ladd also contributed some really artistic photographs, and has been of great assistance in helping us to arrange these Miss B Harrison, however busy she may be, is always ready to give us her cheerful assistance, and we don’t know what we should have done without her. Miss Heller also, has faithfully banged away at her typewriter on our behalf and has been a great help in many ways. To Mr. D. F. Hynes we owe a very interesting and faithful account of the M. S. M, Minstrel Show. We also are indebted to the following students for articles: C. A. Pierce . . . . Junior Class History R. B. Mitchell . . Sophomore Class History S S McNair. . Freshman Class History. We regret that, owing to illness, we had to accept the resignation of Mr G T Twyman as Business Manager of the Rollamo Board. Mr. Twynian worked very conscientiously for us during the summer vacation, and strove hard to work for us under very trying circumstances. Let us hope he will be back at school again next year. The engravings in this book are the work of the Electric City Engraving Co , of Buffalo, N. Y , to whom we feel that we owe no small debt of gratitude. Their work has always been of a very high order, and they have always been prompt and obliging in their dealings with us. s
