Board of Regents Appointed by the Governor of the State with the approval of the State Senate for six year terms, the members of the Board of Regents have many duties to perform. The most important work of the Board is the election of faculty and administrative officials of the college. The Board determines all fees to be charged, and the members authorize the purchases of school supplies and the improvement of the physical plant of the college. Classification of the faculty, the approving and granting of certificates and diplomas, the passing on all recommendations of faculty committees regarding curriculum, and the diciplinary rules or negotiations governing students generally are a few of the many duties which the Board performs. New appointments will be made during the year 1937. , These public spirited men donate their time and energy toward the betterment of our college, expecting no remuneration in return. The service rendered by this body is to be commended by all. SAM E. TRIMBL-E, Springfield President R. W. ANDERSON, Mount Vernon if V wa 1 ' ,,,,,, J. W. SEWALL, Carthage Page IQ B. F.
