SPRING . . . AND ALL IT BRINGS The exuberance of spring gave students a renewed interest in school activities. Taking advantage of this spirit, the YWCA launched World University Service week during which money was raised to help students overseas. Miss Jane Williams, field representative of the World University Service, officially opened the drive. Each organization on campus sponsored a fund raising activity. For example, CCUN proclaimed Apple Munch Day and sold apples as their project. The College Players presented a variety show to aid the fund. Circle K challenged YW's to a hilarious basketball game in which the boys were handicapped by being tied together at the ankles. An auction of services jointly sponsored by Young Democrats and Young Repub- licans climaxed the drive. This one project netted more than half of the total fund. Messy- K ...S-'ww' 1 3 .1 1 . V7.1 an
