FIRST HECTIC DAYS OF COLLEGE Returning from leisurely summer vacations, students encountered the bewildering experi- ence of registration. The long line of those waiting to enroll inched slowly up to the door of the cafeteria. Inside, the pace livened. After consulting with advisors, students confidently filled out course cards. Then finding, that zo- ology lecture was closed and advanced Spanish classes met only at eight O'clock, schedules were juggled and rearranged. Finally satisfied, weary students paid tuition fees and proceeded to the text book room for a semester's supply of books. After triumphantly completing registra- tion, students felt that they could face anything.
