Those Kansas City lads at the above right appear to be in a big hurry to get somewhere but seem to be having a little trouble in getting around the Joplin Lion. In the center, it’s Drennan looking for an opening and getting set to charge around as one Joplin blocker takes out an overanxious Devil. “I got it,” shouts Don Steele as he jumps to snare a pass in the picture at the lower left. Somebody evidentally has the pigskin in the shot at the lower n ght, but just who it is, nobody seems to know.
