This season the Colonels finished with a 3-4-l record. Led by Major Joe Bailey, the Colonels developed rapidly, although handicapped by a light back field and few returning lettermen. The eleven developed power, deception, perfect timing and the valuable cooperation needed between coach and player, enabling them to give us performances such as we had never seen before.
